Control Systems Specialist

JOB SUMMARY:
Install, modify, test, maintain and repair process instrumentation, control systems, and manufacturing machinery. Draw electrical schematics, wiring and ladder diagrams. Use hand and electric assembly tools. Prepare equipment for shipment. Some controls design. Position is full time with benefits. Requirements ? Experience building, wiring and installing control panels, PLCs, motors, transformers and other electrical components ? Experience drawing or modifying electrical schematics and wiring diagrams with any CAD software ( we use AutoCAD Electrical and E-Plan) ? Experience with and understanding of wiring and ladder diagramming ? Able to build from electrical schematics ? Highly skilled with hand and power tools ? Able to lift 25-50 lbs, stand for several hours, walk, reach, and climb around and on top of equipment ? High level of safety practice and awareness ? Basic computer fluency in Word, Outlook and file management ? Professional written and verbal communication skills ? US Citizenship or Green Card ? Able to think and work independently, demonstrate attention to details, be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated ? Organized, systematic, and keep an orderly/uncluttered assembly area ? Demonstrate a good attitude, good team/interpersonal skills, and a desire for ongoing learning Additional skills we use at Radius; great to have but not required ? Related Associates Degree in electronics, control systems, electrical automation, etc. ? Visual Basic or VB.NET ? PLC programming experience ?
