Title: Cost Analyst Location: USA-Utah-Salt Lake City Other Locations: These positions are responsible for setting up cost control systems, and monitoring and controlling costs and schedules on contracts requiring a validated cost schedule control system. Responsibilities: Cost Control: * Monitors the progression and distribution of costs associated with assigned programs using Earned Value Management processes and/or other tools. * Manages cost allocation and monitors schedules of programs. * Ensures that programs are within negotiated and contractual parameters and government cost control guidelines. * Prepares budgets for all Program(s) contract work. * Analyzes or assists in the analysis of funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analyses. * Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting requests for additional funding to the government as necessary. * Incorporates contractual changes into control systems while maintaining realistic baselines for outstanding contracts. Scheduling: * Creates and manages Integrated Master Schedule(s) of all assigned programs. * Creates risk management plans for all assigned programs. * Collaborates work with Program Manager, Control Accounts Managers, and other company resources. * Interface with Customer and Subcontractors. * Bacheloramp;#39;s degree in Business Discipline. This position requires the candidate to have at least 5 years experience with EVMS in a government environment * The position requires the candidate to have excellent analytical skills and an ability to communicate information to customers as well as the program management team and senior management. * The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and pivot tables as well as other Microsoft Office applications including (Word, PowerPoint, and Project). * This position may be filled at a higher grade. Due to the nature of our work qualified candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
