JOB SUMMARY:
This position is within Corporate Trust Services - Lease Group. With more than thirty years of experience, Corporate Trust Lease Group is known worldwide for its services as owner trustee, indenture trustee, and voting trustee. Corporate Trust Lease Group acts as trustee to more than 7,000 accounts in transactions spanning more than 100 countries with over $180 billion in trust assets. The Mission of the Wells Fargo Corporate Trust Lease Group is to be the highest-quality provider of specialized lease trustee and related services in the national and international markets. We are currently looking for an Account Associate 2. The incumbent of this position will: - Follow procedures to ensure control while providing customers with premier service. - Work closely with Lease Administration Teams managing more complex portfolio of accounts. - Facilitate funds flow including receipt and disbursement of payments. - Monitor, request and review document compliance items. - Coordinate account set-up and interface with bank operational areas. - Proactively handle complex customer issues and serve as a contact for customer questions relating to assigned accounts. May act as a resource for cross-selling of products. - Buy and sell investments upon the direction of customer and within trust document guidelines. - Research payment and audit questions. - Complete research and special projects as assigned. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years financial services experience. Minimum Qualifications: Experience in Trust, custody, legal, corporate finance or other applicable financial services industry experience. Previous work experience in servicing customer relationships and strong customer orientation. PC literate and strong math aptitude. Strong organizational skills, ability to meet critical deadlines and work well under pressure. Strong written and verbal communications skills with a variety of professionals, executives and co-workers. Ability to communicate and escalate issues. Exercises independent judgment to identify and resolve problems. Well developed analytical skills for problem resolution. - 2+ years Trust or equivalent experience. Preferred Skills: - Four year college degree in business, finance, accounting economics or related field. - Ability to read and understand legal documents. - Effectively work independently as well as in a team environment. - PC literacy particularly spreadsheets, word processing and database applications. - Ability to communicate with corporate executives, investment bankers, attorneys, security holders and co-workers in a professional manner. - Ability to work in a control oriented environment with procedures and guidelines to follow. - Strong time management skills with attention to detail.
