Job Description:The Security Officers promote safety, respond to emergencies, and deter crime. The Officer will also provide EMT support for any medical emergencies that may occur. Officers are primarily Security Officers who perform all duties of an officer and EMT duties when needed. They meet these objectives by physically patrolling areas, watching for safety hazards, manning posts, watching cameras, reporting incidents, and responding to accidents and medical emergencies. AlliedBartonamp;apos;s security officers are proactive, responsive, and customer oriented. AlliedBarton will provide continuing education for license Duties:*Respond to medical scenes and assess situations *Take charge of all medical emergencies upon arrival at a medical scene or, if under control of a higher qualified medical person(s), document name and qualification and assist as needed *Employee and guest escorts*Incident reporting and writing *Emergency procedures and radio communications *Other duties amp;amp; responsibilities as assigned*Provides access control services to include monitoring and controlling personnel and property admitted to the customeramp;apos;s facilities. Security personnel will accompany and/or closely monitor the activities of the un-cleared visitor(s) and/or worker(s) to whom the Officer is assigned. *Screen and manage personnel admitted to the facilities assuring personnel have the requisite security clearances. *Ensure that all categories of personnel (government, contractor, and visitor) are wearing proper identification badges in the prescribed manner at all times.*Perform limited escort duty for appropriate personnel assuring that they do not come in contact with classified spaces or material. *Attend provided continuing EMS education. Qualifications:*Current State of Utah EMT Basic, EMT Intermediate or Paramedic will be accepted*Must have a current active DOD Secret or Top Secret Clearance*3 years driving history with a favorable driving record*Must be at least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements.*Must have a high school diploma or GED, or at least 10 years of verifiable employment history.*At least one verifiable employer.*No criminal convictions as specified under AlliedBarton guidelines.*Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in the English language for the purpose of public interaction and report writing.*Authorized to work in the United States.*Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.*Negative result on pre-employment drug screen.*Successful completion of AlliedBartonamp;apos;s Security Officer Basic Course exam.*Ability to maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standard.*Neat and professional appearance.*Friendly and professional demeanor with ability to provide quality customer service.*Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively at client site.*Reliable transportation to and from job site.
