JOB SUMMARY:
Field Service Engineer I (Salt Lake City, UT) Location: SLC-Utah Requisition Number: 2595 # of openings: 1 Description HAEMONETICS, THE Blood Management Companyis a global leader engaged in the design, manufacture and worldwide sales and marketing of blood management solutions. Recognized as the innovator in blood technologies, our mission is to create innovative products, design information technology platforms and to provide consulting services to advance the safety, quality and availability of the worldamp;rsquo;s blood supply. Field Service Engineer I Responsible for servicing accounts within a specified territory to ensure minimum downtime for equipment and customer satisfaction: amp;bull; Provides services such as installation, on-time preventative maintenance, upgrades, product support, troubleshooting and repair services to Haemonetics equipment for assigned customer group. amp;bull; Establishes and maintains customer relationships. amp;bull; Communicates with Supervisor or Manager and Sales Representative regarding potential customer leads or concerns. . amp;bull; Complies with all business processes, quality standards and recommends process improvement as applicable including use of Oracle application amp;bull; Responsible to manage parts inventory and service expenses within budget. amp;bull; Timely completion of required paperwork and business process metrics amp;bull; Provides back-up to other Field Service Engineers. amp;bull; Extensive overnight travel within assigned territory as well as other territories as required. amp;bull; Participates in clinical training for PCS2 device and Plasma market in order to gain a solid working knowledge to accurately respond to customer and user inquiries, escalating needs accordingly amp;bull; Consistent achievement of defined customer satisfaction metrics Education and Experience Requirements: amp;bull; High School Degree amp; 0-2 years experience required amp;bull; Associates, Bacheloramp;rsquo;s degree or equivalent technical degree preferred amp;bull; 0-2 years technical experience amp;bull; Strong customer service skills and self directed, able to manage own territory and assist in other territories.
