This West Division level role supports and collaborates with Stock Building Supply's market leaders and location managers; handling complex operational initiatives to increase profitability of the division's operational units. Major Responsibilities: 1. Drive business improvements using KPI's to decrease expense, increase efficiency and increase sales/margin opportunities. 2. Act as a liaison to bring together nuances of the local business and compliance with corporate targets. 3. Identify and implement business process controls to aid in loss prevention. 4. Create and provide training to support operational excellence. 5. Partners with market managers, market leadership teams and location managers to meet division objectives. 6. Lead the LEAN Program implementation and ongoing LEAN improvements within the division. 7. Travel is required - approximately 25%. 8. Other projects as assigned by Division President. Required Skills: 1. Minimum education required?Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Management or related field. May also accept commensurate experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. 2. Minimum experience required ? 3+ years successfully managing a building supply location. 3. Excellent oral and written communication skills. 4. Self-directed, strong business and financial acumen and results oriented. Must have advanced Excel Skills. 5. MS Office, Trend and Computer literate. Experience Required: * Minimum experience required ? 3+ years successfully managing a building supply location.
