Job Description The role of a Food Service Coordinator II at the Salt Lake Clinic is to ensure that food production and service is delivered in a professional, efficient and safe manner. This position will work independently to run operations at the Salt Lake Clinic Cafamp;eacute;. Day to day duties include serving customers by making espresso drinks, serving sandwiches and baked goods, running the cash register and addressing customer requests and concerns as needed. All food service associates can truly make a difference by giving friendly, caring, courteous and professional service to every customer. A food service employee helps ensure our healing commitments are met by their excellence and dedication. Job essentials * Participates in orienting, training, scheduling, disciplining, and leading employees as appropriate. * Coordinates and maintains workflow of assigned area. * Ensures a quality food service operation, including production, customer service, and training. * Orders food and supplies. * Maintains an appropriate inventory. * Ensures that department standards for quality, sanitation, and safety are met. * Completes required reports and documentation. * Coordinates resources (supplies, man hours) within budget. * Participates in quality monitoring activities and process improvement. * Participates in development of menus and recipes. Entry Rate: 11.53 Benefits Eligible: Yes Shift Details: Full time 40 hours per week. Shifts will be Monday - Friday. Daytime hours (approximately 6:00am - 2:30pm) Minimum Requirements * Two years related food service experience. * Six months supervisory or lead experience. * Read, write, and communicate effectively. * Food Handlerapos;apos;s Permit as required by county. Physical Requirements Carrying, Climbing, Hearing / Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pushing / Pulling, Seeing, Speaking, Squatting / Kneeling, Standing, Walking Preferred Qualifications * 3 years customer service experience. * 1 year coffee shop experience. * Ability to work independently and quickly. * Ability to problem solve independently. * Valid driver license in the state of Utah. * Must be able to read, write and speak English Additional Details: Working Hours 40 Primary Work Location Salt Lake Clinic Job Type Full Time Location US-UT-Salt Lake City
