General Laborer is needed for a Salt Lake City area employer. The General Labor position entails numerous manual labor tasks within the plant. There are a variety of tasks this position performs, which may vary from day to day. JOB SUMMARY: 1. Ability to create pulls on computer 2. Fill orders from the computer sheet 3. Fax pull to other stockrooms within the region and fulfill pulls from other locations. 4. Key the pull back into the computer 5. Print and match request tickets to what has been pulled. 6. Ability to learn other areas within the stockroom and plant. **This position requires the incumbent to work in the stockroom and in the plant during the night shift to meet the needs of the business EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: - Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: - Previous experience working in a production environment is preferred, but not required. SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, LICENSES etc.: Requires: Must be able to lift up to 25lbs Candidate must be able to perform assigned duties in a timely safe manner. Must be organized and detail oriented in order to meet goals Must be able to follow plant policies and procedures Must wear assigned PPE at all times Must have computer skills at a basic level English is a plus.
