JOB SUMMARY:
Provide technical leadership and authority in theory, algorithm and software development for three-dimensional (3D) electromagnetic (EM) modeling, inversion and migration in both time- and frequency-domain for various geophysical applications, including airborne, land, borehole, and marine applications. Software development using Matlab, Fortran and C languages. Provide technical leadership and authority in the interpretation of practical geophysical data for oil and gas exploration and production, mineral exploration, geothermal exploration and environmental monitoring. Represent company's technical competencies to third parties for the purpose of scientific communication and business development. Domestic and international travel as required. Require Ph.D. degree in Geophysics, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related area. Background in algorithm and software development for three-dimensional (3D) electromagnetic (EM) modeling using Matlab, Fortran and C languages. Publications and project delivery. Postdoctoral background in exploration geophysics. Job located in Salt Lake City, UT.
