JOB SUMMARY:
Must have knowledge of heavy duty truck mechanics. Perform diagnosis and repairs on diesel tractors and trailers. Brake work and PMs. Perform general and detail repair of all trucks, engines and components. Overhauls gas or diesel engines. Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, and makes adjustments. Lubricate moving parts and drives repaired vehicle to verify conformance to specifications. Document work performed in an accurate and timely manner. Advise customer and/or service writer of any repairs or services which should be performed within the next 3 months. Tag all warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk. 1 Year Cummins experience. P.M. experience, 1 year brake experience. Utah State Safety Card. CDL license. AA and EO Employer.
