Job Description The Home Medical Equipment Processing Tech works with the Clinical Engineering team to receive and properly process home medical equipment. Responsibilities include cleaning, decontaminating and disinfecting equipment and accessories. Will properly handle and dispose of hazardous material, including Chemo Toxic Waste amp; Bio Hazard Waste. Additional responsibilities include timely and accurate processing of associated paperwork. This role is vital in providing exceptional service to those in need of home medical equipment. Entry Rate: $10.70 Benefits Eligible: Yes Shift Details: Monday to Friday from 2:30pm to 11pm. Rotating weekends. Minimum Requirements * High School Diploma or GED * Basic computer skills * Can write accurately and legibly * Excellent communication skills * Speak, read, write and understand English fluently * Basic arithmetic skills plus a working knowledge of package and warehouse units and measurements * Can read, understand and apply procedures and instruction * Can maintain accurate files and records Physical Requirements * Must be able to life heavy weight frequently, at least 50 Lbs Preferred Qualifications * Previous experience or formal training in medical equipment processing and disinfection or other receiving, distribution, inventory control and stocking experience * Familiarity with medical terminology * Good computer skills including Excel, Word, AS-400, Electronic Tracking and Inventory Databases Please Note All positions subject to close without notice Intermountain Healthcare is an equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V Additional Details: Working Hours 40 Primary Work Location HCS Salt Lake City Homecare Job Type Full Time Location US-UT-Salt Lake City
