JOB SUMMARY:
Interactive Marketing Intern #139043 needed for a Salt Lake area employer. Looking for an online marketing intern to grow with our team. Develop skills in Search Engine Marketing (SEM/Pay per Click), keyword research and analysis, web analytics, display media, and vendor management. This internship requires analytical ability, attention to detail, communication skills, etc. The Interactive Marketing Intern would work within the Marketing Team and assist with implementing various online marketing tactics based on direction from others. Main element in this opening is assisting SEM Manager (SEM) to plan and execute work plans. It is expected that the intern will adhere to company mission, vision, and values. This position will be temporary and will work 20 hours per week to start. Job Duties Essential - The Interactive Marketing Intern will work with the Interactive Marketing team to: * Perform keyword research and ongoing analysis * Create reports from Omniture (site analytics) and provide analysis * Assist with developing PPC recommendations * Conduct new vendor research where applicable * Assist with developing Display media recommendations and plans * Assist in management of external SEM team members * Work with the broader marketing team (Creative Services, Brand Management, etc.) in achieving department and company goals * Build relationships with key cross-functional team members * Assist in project management Requirements Skills: Essential - * Analytical capabilities * Attention to detail * Proficiency working with computer applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) * Highly motivated and ethical. Willing to learn * Willing to take on new roles and responsibilities as needed * Results driven and accountable * Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week * Ability to work well with others and build relationships Non-essential - * Knowledge of HTML Experience Education: Essential- * Current marketing student or marketing degree Non-essential - * Worked in a marketing position * Experience in SEM/Analytics/Display Abilities: Essential - * Excellent writing and communication skills Wage and schedule arranged with employer.
