JOB SUMMARY:
Energy Management Corporation (EMC), with headquarters in Salt Lake City, has an opening for an Internet Sales Specialist. We are a 30-year-old and growing industrial automation company that sells and services electrical motors, drives, and generators. We are looking for an innovative, extremely detail-oriented, self-motivated, honest, and hardworking individual. Summary Specific to the MDI Division, the Internet sales specialist will develop new customer accounts, expedite and process orders, and provide support on an as needed basis to other team members. This role will face customer needs of varying complexity and the successful candidate will be expected to actively seek out opportunities for self-development and to gain proficient subject matter and industry knowledge. Key Responsibilities *Actively gain and maintain a knowledge of the industrial automation and motor control industries and respective product offerings *Develop and maintain sustainable customer relationships *Proactive sales effort as needed including cold-calling and customer follow-up *Sales support as needed for the MDI Product Marketing Manager and others in the MDI Division *Assist in receiving customer inquiries and resolving problems in a prompt and professional manner *Fulfill and expedite orders including the ability to lift up to 60lbs and act efficiently under pressure *Desire to be part of a growing organization and to help investigate new methods to achieve goals and milestones *Understand the organizations vision for growth and help to investigate new methods to achieve goals and milestones Job Requirements *Very strong verbal and written English communication skills *Ability to engage customers in a consultative dialogue over the phone *Understanding of EMC?s products (electric motor control industrial automation) *Excellent problem solving skills *Strong attention to detail and organizational skill set *Desire to learn and to be part of a growing organization *Ability to identify and articulate new opportunities *Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word *Ability to lift and move 60lbs easily *High School Diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor Degree preferred) *Graphic design skills and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus 401K, health, dental, vision, paid time off, and profit sharing available. Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Working some weekends/holidays and/or overtime is a possibility. Part time applicants considered.
