JOB SUMMARY:
JOB DESCRIPTION/TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES ? The Business System Analyst oversees the functional support of end users for Oracle Projects, Oracle HR, Self-Service HR, and Advanced Benefits. ? Oversee the functional support of end users for Oracle Projects, Oracle HR, Self-Service HR, and Advanced Benefits. ? Lead and participate on project teams implementing features and functions specific to the Oracle Projects, HR, Self-Service HR, and Advanced Benefits modules. ? Work with end users on business requirements to help implement and drive process efficiencies utilizing the Oracle Applications. ? Work with end users on business requirements for operational reports that are not standard to the Oracle Applications. ? Enhance and support best practices for Oracle Applications. ? Provide guidance and troubleshoot functional and technical related issues to the Oracle Applications. ? Mentor other Oracle analysts on support, process improvement and implementation of other Oracle modules. Features and functions. ? Work with development teams on business requirements to build the needed functionality. ? Work with other functional and technical teams on integration requirements. ? Develop project plans and timelines when requested to meet critical deliver dates. ? Development of functional and technical requirements documentation. ? Develop testing scenarios and required testing environment and procedures. ? Translate end-user requirements and specifications into efficient executable project plans. ? Support the Oracle environments as needed. ? Represent the Oracle perspective in functional and technical design sessions. ? Performs other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS ? Good understanding of Oracle configurations I setups for Oracle Projects/HR, Self-Service HR, and Advanced Benefits modules. ? Familiarity with Oracle process flows: Hire-to-Termination, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Accounting-to-Financial Reporting ? Solid understanding of the schemas and tables for the aforementioned Oracle modules ? Strong in working with Oracle Support to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly ? Technical expertise and ability in writing PL/SQL, sql queries and familiarity with Oracle development tools namely Forms, Reports, APEX etc ? Strong functional knowledge and experience of Oracle Applications Open Interfaces, APIs and Workflows ? Familiarity with Oracle AIM methodology and required documentation ? Experience with all phases of an Oracle project lifecycle development process (analysis, design , code, test, migrate) ? Accountable for meeting deadlines on assigned projects and tasks ? Knowledge of project accounting systems and processes ? Requirements collection and analysis and business analysis skills, including project cost estimation and cost/benefit analysis ? Excellent written and verbal communication abilities ? Ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external implementation teams ? Strong leadership abilities ? Experience with the following modules/tools is a plus: AME, Purchasing, iProcurement, GL, AP, AR, FA, iExpense , Inventory, Project Costing, Project Billing, Web ADI, XML Publisher WorkFlow Builder MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Accounting, Finance or other related fields. Required Experience: ? Minimum 7-8 years? experience in the implementation and support of Oracle applications with recent experience of R12 ? Experience implementing Oracle Projects/HR, Self-Service HR. and Advanced Benefits modules ? Experience in working with Oracle developers so that business requirements can be correctly defined if Oracle development work is needed Preferred Experience: ? Implementation of Oracle Applications at 3 or more companies
