The incumbent is responsible for analyzing, defining and leading IT Projects to effectively deliver IT infrastructure solutions working along with the teams within the IT organization and business partners. Responsibilities: - Analyze, define and lead IT Projects to effectively deliver IT infrastructure solutions working along with the teams within the IT organization and business partners. - Leads and drives IT projects in accordance with applicable client approaches, policies, procedures, methodologies (PMO) and tools to ensure the required level of business amp;#8220;best practices,amp;#8221; quality assurance, process control and regulatory compliance. - Works with project teams on the business application side as well as the infrastructure team, conduct required activities to deliver projectamp;#8217;s objectives. - Works with IT teams, conducts the strategy, planning, coordination and execution of required activities within the project as identified by business leadership. - Analyses business, technical issues and risks, and then develop strategies and plans for remediation. - Creates a formal project plan and forms a project team, gathering all appropriate resources and forming a structure plan. - Works with the application teams and the Business teams provides guidance and planning for coordination on the overall Infrastructure activities within the project. - Determines key IT priorities and aligns them with Business priorities for each project. - Works with the various teams within the Global IT organization, gain amp;#8220;buy-inamp;#8221; from the decision makers and stakeholders (sites, regions, executive team) to drive execution of the infrastructure project plan, which can involve resource prioritizing and optimization. - Identifies critical IT activities amp;#8220;quick winsamp;#8221; and cost savings opportunities within infrastructure, and effectively works with the infrastructure team to implement them. - Manages IT infrastructure Project Budget and tracks expenditure to plan. - Increases talent pool within IT pool within IT infrastructure team by focusing on developing the existing team members( through regular coaching, role modeling, projects and assignments) to improve overall project management skills within the organization. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities - Strong leadership and project management skills. - Understands IT infrastructure architecture and supported technologies. - Experience in hardware (HP, EMC, Cisco, etc.) as well as applications (E1, Siebel Agile, Hyperion, SAP, etc) with good background on Health Care and Biotech industries. Qualifications: Required - Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent - Ten years of technical and business experience in similar position, at least 3 years leading complex IT projects. Qualifications (Preferred): Preferred - PMP Certification
