Business Title Key Account Manager - Vehicles Requisition No. 66704BR Category Customer Support Subsidiary eBay Position Area US - Utah - Salt Lake City Position Location Draper Utah Shift Day Shift Details M-F; 8am-5pm Primary Job Responsibilities The Vehicles Key Account Manager will focus on coaching, servicing, and growing high volume accounts. They will monitor account business activity in an effort to ensure retention and increase gross revenues and sales volume. Most work will be done via phone but will include correspondence via email, the utilization of CRM and sales management tools, and some travel (approximately once per quarter or as needed for relationship management). Account Managers should strive to be thought of by their accounts as business partners. They should possess strong enough relationship management and sales skills to walk the fine line between gaining their trust and acting as an eBay advocate. The ability to strike this balance is crucial to successful performance in this position. An account manager must consistently show the benefit of the eBay platform. They must be capable of demonstrating how and why a top seller should maintain, or risk putting more of their business on eBay Motors. Account Managers will be expected to become eBay Motors marketplace experts who are aware of major trends and initiatives in the automotive industry. They must be capable of identifying those trends with potential impact to the eBay Motors marketplace and their assigned accounts. The ability to create clear, concise and meaninful account development plans will be a critical component for the successful candidate. Most importantly, Account Managers will be expected to possess a strong understanding of the eBay Motors business model and community. The successful candidate must be able to coach and, when necessary; provide corrective actions upon their accounts. It is the Account Managerapos;s responsibility to ensure accounts perform in a fashion that is mindful of both the business amp; the community. Finally, all candidates are expected to perform their duties with enthusiasm, passion and integrity, engaging their accounts and teammates in like manner. Job Requirements (Knowledge, skills, abilities, experience required to perform job) * 4+ years Customer Service experience required. * 2+ years Account Management experience or Sales experience preferred. * Experience in business to business relationship management preferred. * Automobile industry experience is highly desirable. * Strong analytical skills needed. * Literate in Microsoft Office and CRM tools. * Strong communication skills (verbal, phone and written). * Must be detail oriented, self-driven and prone to follow through. * Flexible, results-oriented team player. * Enthusiastic, energetic, proactive and passionate. * Must require minimal supervision. * Must have professional judgment sufficient to operate independently when required. * Work history must demonstrate high levels of integrity and professionalism. * Excellent working knowledge of the eBay site and auction dynamics - experience buying or selling in online auctions are highly desirable. * High level of comfort with Web-based technology, including SAAS, and third party cloud solutions. * Working knowledge of eBayamp;rsquo;s administrative tools is a plus. * Experience in entrepreneurial activities is a plus.
