JOB SUMMARY:
Lab Analyst October 24, 2012 - November 02, 2012 Location: Salt Lake City, UT Salary Range: Rate of pay is $15.00+/hour based on education and experience Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt Benefits: Position offers an excellent work environment and benefits package. Employment Type: Full Time Department: Packaging Description: We work with some of the top medical device and pharmaceutical companies in the world, including many fortune 500 companies. We are currently looking for someone to work with the physical tests of packaging. These tests include seal strength, Burst strength, puncture, tear, etc. Hours are Monday ? Friday from 8/AM ? 4/PM with some flexibility required/available. You can look online at Youtube to see these tests performed. Check it out under Nelson Labs and then packaging. Duties: Responsibilities: Our lab analysts help with the hands on testing process from set up, performing the test, data recording and clean up. Must enjoy working with teams, dedicated and going the extra mile. Maintain/order supplies and media as needed. Keep the laboratory organized and clean. Previous laboratory experience is desired but not required. Successful candidates must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task, organizational skills are a must and must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Individual also needs to be able to lift 20-30 pounds on occasion Qualifications: Position require an Associated Degree or High School diploma and one year applicable laboratory experience (B.S. in Microbiology preferred).
