YESCO LLC is seeking a Layout Technician Custom Sign Fabricator who will be responsible for creating, reviewing, revising, and altering manufacturing prints to ensure they are in conformance with company and drafting standards. Training for this position will require up to 1 year of production experience with the ADA team before transitioning full time to the layout position. Job Function: Provide working drawings from project artwork. Provide design assistance and facilitate product improvement and the design of new and innovative products. Responsibilities: Create and revise drawings in an accurate, detailed, and complete manner in conformance with drafting standards Pull prints and work from marked up prints, sketches, and verbal instructions to produce working drawings Gather ideas and concepts from others and develop improvements Work with engineers and designers to prepare layouts of complex designs, which may require mathematical calculations Research and evaluate data specification, installation, etc. for products Maintain all proper documentation Required Skills: Associate?s Degree in Mechanical or Structural Design or equivalent Technical Degree preferred 2-3 years previous experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proficient in Composer and Adobe Illustrator. Proficient in AutoDesk Inventor Proficient in Microsoft Office Attention to detail Basic math skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to read blueprints is desirable We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.
