This posion is remote and can be based out of these cities: Seattle, WA Portland, OR. Minneapolis, MN Denver, CO Salt Lake City, UT The DSM is responsible for leading, directing, planning, implementing and monitoring Sysmex Technical Service strategies through the field-based technical resources assigned to the District in order to achieve the operating goals allocated to the District. Operating goals include revenue targets profit contribution customer satisfaction levels and other measures of service delivery such as PM performance first time fix rate overtime and utilization. Also responsible for implementing Service policies and procedures within the District; setting individual performance objectives for subordinate staff; monitoring service metrics for the District individual field engineers and select customers; assessing training and development needs for members of the District Service team; and insuring all members are trained to the appropriate level of competency to meet service level commitments and customer satisfaction goals. The District Service Manager is responsible for maintaining and enhancing overall customer satisfaction directly and indirectly improving productivity of the Field Service Representatives (FSRs) and supporting the sales process to retain upgrade and increase the installed instrument base in the District. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1) Supervise and direct the day-to-day activities of non-exempt employees as applicable. Review and assess primary secondary and back-up assignments of FSRs to customers within the District. Review territory configurations to optimize response time matching of skills against specific customer requirements and overall cost objectives. Monitor the distribution of service calls and responses to minimize overtime while meeting service obligations and customer satisfaction goals. 2) Identify problems and complaints from customers in the District and lead the escalation and resolution coordinating the efforts of necessary resources and appropriate departments as required such as the Area Consultant Engineers (ACE) Technical Product Managers and senior management. Personally engage in any critical account situation develop the strategy and plan and follow the Call Escalation Policy to resolve and implement a corrective action. Report status to weekly Service quality meeting. 3) Recruit hire train coach and develop District team of FSRs. Travel with FSRs and prepare individual development plans. Conduct on-the-job training as required. Coordinate with Service Training to achieve and maintain the necessary skills within the District to achieve operating goals and key performance indicators (KPIs). 4) Responsible for department budget and the planning forecasting and achievement of revenue expenses and contribution objectives for the District. Analyze financial data on an on-going basis to ensure financial commitments to the overall organization will be met. Determine and assign expense and revenue budgets to direct reports when
