Overview: This position is filled by a Materials Management professional, who possesses the planning knowledge and experience to plan and place orders for materials to support production in a cGMP environment, and supports the Global Purchasing Organization. In addition, this position would be responsible for gathering and reporting data to support the materials management department. Responsibilities: * Manages existing supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery of compliant materials to support the manufacturing schedule and target inventory levels. * Works directly with existing suppliers to resolve material issues in an expeditious manner.* Source materials as needed for Business Development/Operations* Places purchase requisitions for indirect materials used to support site production activities.* Updates material master in ERP system for all new raw materials.* Maintains planning parameters for raw materials.* Create and administer performance metrics related to materials management.* Prepares ad-hoc reporting as needed by management. Qualifications: Requires a bacheloramp;apos;s degree or equivalent 1+ years Materials Management/Manufacturing experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment. Demonstrated familiarity with automated materials management systems.
