Title: Mechanical Engineer Location: USA-Utah-Salt Lake City Other Locations: The Mechanical Engineer will assist in the design and analysis of innovative mechanical antenna solutions. Responsibilities include: * Support senior engineers in performing mechanical analysis and conducting environmental testing. * Assist in specification creation, the proposal process and presenting to management. * BSME required, MSME preferred, plus 5 years additional relevant experience. * Experience with a 3-D modeling tool such as NX is required. * Experience with precision mechanism design and motion control is a plus. * Familiarity with an FEA package is a plus. * Must be proficiencent with MS Word, Excel and Project software. * Familiarity with MIL-STDs is preferred. * Must have strong problem solving and organizational skills. * The individual must be able to work from oral and written instructions, be dependable, positive, assertive, a team player and have a strong desire to succeed. * Must have great communications skills to expeditiously coordinate efforts through all phases of the manufacturing and engineering process while contributing in a high performance team environment to meet customer needs. * Must be willing to work overtime and weekends when required.Special Requirements:Due to the nature of our work this position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
