Qualifications: 1. Introductory knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding or Equivalent. 2. Effective verbal and written communication and human relation skills required. 3. Intermediate Excel and word processing skills preferred. 4. Excellent organizational skills required. 5. Works toward solutions using inquiry and logical deduction, i.e. problem solving skills. Essential Functions: 1. Responsible for pulling, copying, batching amp; scanning patient medical records and charge tickets to aid other staff in completing billing functions. ? 20% 2. Maintain resource and log. ? 15% 3. Requires travel to and from the hospital. ? 15% 4. In-house Charge Entry ?includes posting payments. -15% 5. Scanning charge tickets and maintain daily scanning log. ? 20% 6. Procedure Verification. ? 10% 7. Responsible for updating and maintaining charge tickets. ? 5% 8. Overtime may be required. 9.
