JOB SUMMARY:
WE ARE NOW ASSISTING A SLC MEDICAL MANUFACTURER IN FILLING A MOLDING PROCESS TECHNICIAN. CANDIDATE WILL HAVE A MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS IN INJECTION MOLDING. QUALIFICATIONS: *Responsible for molding equipment setup, tool installation, startup and shutdown. *Perform daily mold inspection and cleaning, clean screw barrels, and handle minor preventive maintenance tasks. *Work closely with Quality Assurance personnel to assure proper in-process quality assurance inspection occurs. *Diagnose production problems and make proper adjustments. Following up to ensure that desired results are obtained. *Document cycles, water diagrams and any changes that are made to the original set up sheets. *Work closely with engineer and other departments to resolve technical problems and will maintain proper documentation on scrap, machine usage and work orders. *Provide one-on-one training to new Set up Trainee. *Provide guidance to other Setup Technicians including monitoring progress of Trainees on shift. *Communicate any repair or malfunction of equipment or tooling to the proper support department. *Uphold the GMP/ISO standard.
