JOB SUMMARY:
The Merchandising Specialist supports the store leadership team by executing strategies that consistently meet and exceed company standards. The specialist is cross-trained in all work centers to best support store needs at any time. The Specialist has keys and can open the building to begin the shipment process, but should not be the only Leader in the store during open hours for more than three hours per shift. May also close the building. Must have excellent merchandising skills, with attention to detail. Able to understand and interpret HQ visual merchandising tools and direction, understands the various needs of the different departments and customer segments. Able to develop and train others. Requires a HS diploma or equivalent. Two year college degree preferred. 12 months of experience desired with this store. Able to communicate with customers and store personnel Able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the employer. Weekends, evening and some overnigts.
