Business Title Motors Mid-Tier Account Manager Requisition No. 65902BR Category Customer Support Subsidiary eBay Position Area US - Utah - Salt Lake City Position Location Draper Utah Shift Day Shift Details 8am to 5pm Monday - Friday Primary Job Responsibilities The Account Manager will focus on coaching, servicing, and growing high volume accounts. They will monitor account business activity in an effort to ensure retention and increase gross monthly sales and volume. Most work will be done via phone but will include correspondence by email, the utilization of CRM and sales management tools, and some travel (approximately once per year or as needed for relationship management). Account Managers should strive to be thought of by their accounts as business partners. They should possess strong enough relationship management and sales skills to walk the fine line between gaining their trust and acting as an eBay advocate. The ability to strike this balance is crucial to successful performance in this position. The Account Manager must consistently show the benefit of the eBay platform. They must be capable of demonstrating how and why a dealer should maintain, or risk putting more of their business on eBay Motors. The Account Manager will be expected to become eBay Motors marketplace experts who are aware of major trends and initiatives in the automotive industry. They must be capable of identifying those trends with potential impact to the eBay Motors marketplace and their assigned accounts. Most importantly, Account Managers will be expected to possess a strong understanding of the eBay Motors business model and community. The Account Manageramp;rsquo;s primary responsibility is to understand the overall business needs of the dealer, by fact finding and digging deep into the inner workings of the dealership. The Account Manager will develop a partnership with the dealership by building a working development plan with specific tasks and actions designed to accomplish the goals the dealership has set for its self. The successful candidate must be able to coach and, when necessary; provide discipline to their accounts. It is the Account Managerapos;s responsibility to ensure accounts perform in a fashion that is mindful of both. The Mid-Tier Account Managers are eBayamp;rsquo;s primary contact with the dealers during the first 6-9 months following reactivation. Job Requirements amp;bull; 4+ years Account Management experience or Sales experience required amp;bull; Experience in business to business relationship management preferred amp;bull; Proven sales or service record or track record in building and growing strategic relationships amp;bull; Working knowledge of eBayamp;rsquo;s administrative tools a plus amp;bull; Experience in entrepreneurial activities a plus amp;bull; Automobile industry experience is highly desirable amp;bull; Strong analytical skills needed amp;bull; Literate in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools amp;bull; Strong communication (verbal/phone and written) amp;bull; Must be detail-oriented and self-driven with the ability to follow through amp;bull; Flexible and results-oriented team player amp;bull; Enthusiastic and energetic, proactive amp;bull; Must require minimal supervision Education Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
