The primary focus will be managing leads by proactively contacting and advising recently inactive eBay Motors dealers. Retention/Vetting Sales Specialistamp;rsquo;s goal is to reactivate and assess willingness and potential of inactive dealers with the final outcome of incremental growth and movement of qualified dealers to the Mid-Tier managed account team. Must have experience selling to multiple decision-makers and be knowledgeable of the complexities of dealership technology and marketing solutions. The successful candidate will also be highly effective in navigating all facets of the 1-to-1 dealer sales process, from pitch to negotiation to close, including on-ramp product training. Individual should be highly effective at presenting and supporting the eBay solution, ** Several positions available (personal eBay user a plus) Job Requirements amp;bull; Sell eBay Motors services to automotive dealers amp;bull; Provide limited support to automotive dealers amp;bull; Coordinate support efforts with Mid-Tier account management team amp;bull; Continuously prospect and pitch new clients to secure incremental revenue by closing new business amp;bull; Leverage one-to-many sales opportunities including, but not limited to dealer events, group meetings and third-partners amp;bull; Coordinate with National Sales Manager to develop strategy and execution plan amp;bull; Create and review sales reports and forecasts, and ongoing status reports amp;bull; Complete regular call reports to update sales management and internal counterparts on account activity amp;bull; Produce regular forecast reports for sales and business management amp;bull; Train new Ret/Vett sales specialists on processes and sales best practices amp;bull; Servicing and advising reactivated dealer accounts with primary focus on representing eBay in promoting activation, listing volume, and retention. amp;bull; Overcoming dealer objections, providing phone training on eBay and preferred service provider (PSP) listing software, providing creative solutions as well as consultative advice to existing and acquired accounts on how to make listings more effective. amp;bull; Provide features and benefits of Motorsamp;rsquo; transactional site vs. traditional classified ads and other methods of listing cars for sale. amp;bull; Responsible for promoting listing software services and Dealer Assistance options. amp;bull; Performance evaluated on effectiveness in servicing and advising dealer accounts, reactivating sellers, promoting volume and quality of vehicle listings from these reactivated sellers, and retention of these sellers. amp;bull; Ret/Vett Sales Specialists will be thoroughly versed in eBay/auction listing strategies, eBay Trust and Safety regulations, the auto industry overall and all varieties of automobile dealers, as well as being an eBay Motorsamp;rsquo; site experienced user. amp;bull; Responsibilities will include proactive outbound follow-up, inbound support of existing accounts, and utilization of CRM and sales management tools. amp;bull; Work with car dealers to understand their individual business model, their needs, capabilities, and resources. amp;bull; Proactively analyze a dealeramp;rsquo;s listings and suggest opportunities for improvement intended to help the dealer realize better results using eBay. Each dealership has different needs and the Ret/Vett Sales Specialist will have to work proactively and independently to achieve the desired results.
