TitleSenior .NET ProgrammerDescriptionA Salt Lake City interactive development department has an immediate opening for an advanced web applications programmer. You must have extensive knowledge of Object Oriented Programming concepts and theory. Also, you must have an extensive knowledge of the Microsoft .NET frameworks (2.0 and up). This person will assist in the discovery, analyze requirements, and design and configure solutions. Will also work with project managers and strategy directors to scope and define projects. Experience with Web and Windows services is also a plus.You will be expected to plan, research, develop logic, code, test, and deploy web projects with minimal assistance. Should know how to build a .NET web application from the ground up, as well as modify and build on existing code. Must have experience with relational database systems (RDBMs) such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc. You will be expected to work in a team environment along with other UI and applications programmers.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the discovery and design sessions and assist with business requirements for web-based solutions.Implement architecture by developing web pages, configuring components, creating prototypes, maintaining technical integrity and consistency, and documenting solutions.Prepare design documents and technical papers explaining and motivating the approaches to be taken in the architecture of web-based solutions.Ensuring quality of work through development and implementation of QA procedures and standards.Working with team to educate project managers about programming solutions.Qualifications and Skill SetExperience with building highly interactive, database driven Web applications.Good understanding of object oriented programming and programming principles.Comprehensive understanding of the .NET programming language and framework.Advanced knowledge of Web protocols and programming requirements.Advanced understanding of SQL Server database (or other RDBMs). Experience developing with Visual Studio.NET and other IDE toolsets.Proficient with modeling and mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Enterprise Architect, etc.).Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills.Knowledge of HTML, CSS, DHTML, AJAX, and other client-side programming technologies.Understanding of web programming standards for client-side development.Experience working with ASP.NET master pages, templates, stylesheets, etc.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently when needed.Team player attitude.Self-motivated, self-directed.Join TEKsystemsamp;reg; and get your career on the fast track.
