JOB SUMMARY:

? Automating the load, conversion, transformation, and exception handling required for data migration from legacy applications and multiple external interfaces into a new, leading edge medical management enterprise system ? Designing, developing, implementing, and testing new Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) programs using Microsoft .Net 4.0, SQL Server 2008/2008R2, and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) ? Analyzing source data and creating a mapping and transformation plan to migrate data ? Developing and deploying efficient and optimized SSIS packages to complete data mapping and migration ? Designing and developing reusable solution to ensure quality, scalability, and reliability ? Interfacing with existing web service library to retrieve or submit data ? Interacting with the business analysts and development team to establish file formats, required data elements, setup transmission, and delivery of files ? Creating mapping documentation, detailing fields and transformations from source and target systems ? Creating design standards and documentation for reference by developers and customers ? Working with the architecture team to implement best practices and design patterns ? Meeting aggressive project deadlines Requirements: ? Ability to work individually and as part of the team in a fast paced Agile environment ? Occasional travel to customer site, typically of short duration ? Bachelor degree in computer science, engineering or related field preferred; equivalent work experience in related field will be considered ? Minimum of 3+ years of experience with Microsoft .Net framework (preferably version 3.5 and above) using C# and/or VB.Net languages ? Minimum of 3+ years of experience with SQL Server 2005 or greater ? Minimum of 2+ years of data migration and conversion experience from one application to another ? Minimum of 2+ years of experience in coding SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages ? Minimum of 2+ years of experience in coding SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) packages ? Expertise in Object Oriented Programming and design patterns ? Experience with SQL scripts and stored procedures ? Familiarity with WCF services ? Experience with healthcare field a plus ? Excellent communication, analytical, and problem solving skills ? Quick learner ? Ability to identify and implement process improvements ? Ability to work under tight deadlines and meet customer expectations Personality Requirements: ? Strong analytical skills ? ability to translate data to strategy ? Ability to think creatively and strategically ? Excellent organization and time management skills ? Visual design skills are a strong plus ? Conceptual thinking, presentation skills at a high level. ? A drive for wanting to build products from the user's point of view ?
