JOB SUMMARY:
Tooele based medical office is seeking an experienced Office Coordinator to assist the Office Manager with front desk duties. Provides excellent customer service to patients and referral sources. Qualifications: Computer experience required in Windows, spreadsheets and word processing Clear understanding of business office operations in a health care environment Ability to perform desk and office activities Strong communication and inter-personal skills Must have a perfect attendance work record and always on time Responsibilities: Responsible for daily cash management procedures. Receives and accounts for all cash received in accordance to Center Policy, including petty cash reconciliation Maintains good working relationships with insurance payers Front desk responsibilities to include, but not limited to: Provides documentation for imaging patients Maintains current materials for patient education and consent procedures Discusses documentation with patient and family member confirming that instructions are understood and questions answered Answers patient and family member questions and refers questions to health care professionals when appropriate Communicate and facilitates all pertinent information from and between the referring physician, support staff, insurance companies, radiologists and patient Reviews pre-qualification for third party payer before date of scheduled testing Assumes any other responsibilities that may be assigned from Management on an as needed basis Ensures on a daily basis that patients and their family are dealt with in a professional and courteous manner by all Tooele Valley Imaging personnel Must pass a pre-employment post office background check and drug test.
