THE POSITION: The Outbound Call Center Position (business development) performs telephone prospecting functions for our marketing and sales department to clients throughout the region (lead generation / creating sales leads). This is an entry-level position, with a strong opportunity for growth. RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Make calls to business owners and IT directors to set sales appointments and invite them to seminars ? Verify contact information and organization data through phone and other inquiries ? Identify, initiate, and nurture relationships through outbound calling to decision makers and qualify sales opportunities for our company ? Document results of communications in clear and concise notes ? Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: ? High School Diploma or equivalent ? Excellent phone and interpersonal skills ? Dedication, perseverance, and strong work ethic ? Sales and or IT experience a plus, but not required ? Familiar with computer programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook COMPENSATION: ? $9.00 - $16.00 per hour ? Medical, dental, and vision benefits ? Holiday and paid time off ?
