VitalSigns Healthcare Staffing is looking for Physical Therapist Assistants for Home Health Hospice. You will work under the direction of the Physical Therapist, carry out the treatment and rehabilitative services of home bound patients. Physical therapist assistants provide patients with exercises, massages, hot and cold packs, assist in development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, direct activity programs, and document the progress of treatments among other assigned duties. The PTA will be responsible for the monitoring and and documentation of patient treatment and response. Job Duties Responsibilities: Assesses the patient's strength, balance, and competence to do daily functions. Sets up a visit schedule and appropriate goals with the patient. Implements plan of care for patient Walks through exercises with patients and reassesses patient needs and changes goals as appropriate.
