Seeking an experienced (journeyman level) Plant Electrician to work in the Salt Lake City facility. This position will complement an existing maintenance team comprised of other skills and experienced team members. Journeyman level skills and experience (5 + years). Experience must be in commerical/industrial environment. No residential. Prior experience in a chemical or petro-chemical manufacturing environment preferred. Demonstrated ability to work safely and produce quality work. Demonstrated ability to own work processes and meet deadlines. Knowledge of and demonstrated application of general maintenance skills. Knowledge of electrical codes as they pertain to an industrial manufacturing environment. Experience with 480 3-phase motors. Familiarity with LOTO (lock-out/tag-out disciplines). Complete projects as assigned by the maintenance manager. Serve as the subject matter expert in regard to the electrical component of installation and maintenance of pumps, motors, compressors, mixing equipment, lighting, etc. Work with other maintenance team members to comprehensively complete maintenance projects.
