Under general supervision, leads and performs a variety of processing duties according to batch record and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPamp;apos;s) in small scale manufacturing including or commercial manufacturing, but not limited to, dispensing, weighing, mixing, fabricating, coating and pouching/packaging Under general supervision, leads and performs a variety of processing duties according to batch record and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPamp;apos;s) in small scale manufacturing including or commercial manufacturing, but not limited to, dispensing, weighing, mixing, fabricating, coating and pouching/packaging. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organizationamp;apos;s policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws. Ensures batch records, equipment log books, and other relevant records are current. Reports process or equipment problems to supervisor. Sets-up equipment for processing operations. Cleans and maintains processing rooms and equipment. Prepares basic engineering studies and minor equipment qualification protocols. Monitors process and equipment and makes necessary adjustments to maintain batch record specifications. Performs IQ/OQ testing and qualifications. Follows established department SOPamp;apos;s and batch record instructions. Sets-ups, calibrates and utilizes instrumentation as required. Prepares final reports supporting validation activities. Provides leadership and training to Process Packaging and Processing Operators. Creates accurate and detailed component drawings. Prepares complex qualification studies. Specifies, orders and qualifies machine components. Interacts with outside contractors and service companies. Completes assigned projects independently, with little or no supervision. Ensures project deadlines and performance standards are established and met. Ensures compliance with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations. Performs related duties as assigned. All duties and responsibilities of a Process Operator IV Some interaction with planning group to review and update manufacturing schedule Responsible for the limited operation of the work center for existing work order and future scheduled work orders including but not limited to: o Ensuring that all documentation including the batch record(s), cleaning records, set up records etc. are available and current o Ensuring that ample human resources are available o Ensuring that all material is available and in an acceptable status for use - o Ensues all compliance requirements for the work center and documentation Monitors key performance indicators for the work centerThree (3) or more years of experience as a Process Technician II; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Associateamp;apos;s degree in chemistry, engineering, science or a related field from an accredited college or university
