JOB SUMMARY:
Producer/Editor needed for a Salt Lake City broadcast employer. Will produce, write, and edit newscasts in a 24/7 newsroom environment. In addition, the person must be able to edit daily stories under deadline pressure using a non-linear edit system, tune in/coordinate microwave and satellite signals for air and tackle special projects for the station. QUALIFICATIONS: Must have extensive experience producing and boothing live newscasts. Strong writing, teasing, news judgment and experience using Final Cut Pro or other non-linear editing system. Must be detail oriented, self motivated, and work well under pressure. Employer will arrange work schedule. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
