QA Associate II, 1st Shift October 30, 2012 - December 31, 2012 Location: Salt Lake City, UT Salary Range: DOE Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt Benefits: Yes Employment Type: Full Time Employer: Cephalon, Inc. Duties: Primary Responsibilities: ? Independently analyze raw materials intended for commercial use or in support of company business. ? Assist in training laboratory staff as needed. ? Operate and perform routine maintenance on equipment, and maintain log book. ? Prepare, maintain, and review thorough records, documentation on solutions, sample preparation and experiments. ? Coordinates the sending out of testing to contract laboratories. ? Maintain chemical and standard inventory. ? Assists in Verification of Compendia Methods, as needed. ? Ensure laboratory and work areas conform to cGMP and Standard Operating Procedures. ? Recommend draft and write laboratory, test methods, standard operating procedures, or protocols ? Assists in the creation of Incidents, Deviation and Out of Specification Investigation and Out of Trend Investigation Reports, as needed. Qualifications: Requirements: Requires a Bachelor s/Master s degree in scientific discipline or equivalent with a minimum of 3+ years experience with a Bachelor s, or 2+ years with a Master s and demonstrated working knowledge of scientific principles.
