JOB SUMMARY:
Reporter needed for a Salt Lake City television station. Must have a Bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism, communications, related field or equivalent and at least three years of professional reporting experience at a local broadcast affiliate. Must also have a smooth on-air delivery, good verbal skills, a pleasant voice and on-air appearance, and live reporting skills. Additional qualifications include sound news gathering abilities, writing skills, creative story ideas. Must have proven ability to consistently compile accurate, journalistically sound news reports under the direction of news management. Must have Internet skills, with experience gathering information and filing stories on several different platforms. Fluency in Spanish is a plus. Applicants may be required to take a current events quiz and writing test. Full time. Days and hours arranged with employer. Job closes Nov. 24, 2012
