Research Technician Positions in iUTAH (innovative urban transitions and arid-region hydro-sustainability) We seek three technicians to take responsibilities for the operations of climatic and hydrologic monitoring systems in northern Utah. These technicians will have daily responsibility for all aspects of hydrological instrumentation network design, operation/maintenance, data quality assurance/control, and training. iUTAH (http://iutahepscor.org) is a statewide project funded through the National Science FoundationA??s EPSCoR Program. Planned research instrumentation will quantify aspects of climate, snow and vegetation dynamics, and water quantity and quality in the Logan, Red Butte, and middle Provo watersheds. Aside from these duties the iUTAH project will afford excellent opportunities for interdisciplinary experiences in hydrologic data management and interpretation. One technician will be hired to work at each of three universities: Brigham Young University, University of Utah, and Utah State University. Hiring and management reporting will be university specific. Continual employment is contingent upon additional grant funding.
