Security Officer Position Job Description: Stationary post Licensed Security Officer - Establishing a security presence to act as a deterrent to crime, prevent damage or incidents from occurring on customers property or equipment. Observant of all security risks while protecting the project. Investigating and documenting those things we find out of place, suspicious or that may not be in the best interest of the project. Deal with all people in a friendly, professional, upstanding manner. Qualifications: Neat and professional appearance. Dependable, Honest and Trustworthy. Ability to follow and obey orders. Ability to observe and report as instructed. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in report writing. Ability to provide quality customer service. Ability to perform crucial functions of the position. Ability to handle crisis situations effectively. Ability to walk and or stand for several hours at a time. Must successfully pass and extensive background check (Local, State and Federal) BCI - background investigation, must have no criminal convictions. Experience: Successful completion of DOPL sanctioned Security Officers training program. Must be 18 years or older - High School Graduate
