JOB SUMMARY:
Act as a Technology Lead Developer: designing ,coding, and testing reference data systems using .NET and Java based server side components and spearheading the initiative for eliminating legacy platforms. Design applications that are low-touch and increase operational efficiency by introducing automation and straight-through processing. Lead technical design sessions by presenting logical statements of business problems and designs, and by offering and incorporating ideas. Work directly with business users in defining new application requirements, resolving issues and providing technology perspective to strategic business planning. Develop project plans, identify key milestones and coordinate implementation and deployment. Build and maintain in-depth knowledge of the business area and act as a subject matter expert providing support to business. Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior staff on a project basis. Position Requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or equivalent) or Bachelor's degree (U.S. or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field. Three years of experience (with Master's degree) or five years of experience (with Bachelor's degree) in the job offered or a related analyst developer role. Must have two years of experience: developing enterprise quality, network agnostic services using JAVA in a Service Oriented Architecture (?SOA?) platform to provide strategic reference data solutions. Must have one year of experience: developing desktop GUI applications using C#/.NET and web applications using JSP; utilizing Application Servers such as JBOSS, Tomcat, etc. to host SOA applications in a fault-tolerant manner; utilizing UNIX to deploy and support applications in global distributed platform; using Software development lifecycle tools such as MAVEN, ANT, Team City, JIRA and Crucible; and using legal entity management and account opening platforms to help design data models and encapsulate business logic into granular services.
