JOB SUMMARY:
Act as a senior developer/programmer in reporting database for Private Wealth Management business. Responsible for back office processing related to bookkeeping, banking, margin and reporting functionalities. Responsible for maintaining existing sub-ledger systems and building new modules/processes/systems when required to support new requirements. Analyze, resource, plan, execute and manage some of the team's projects. Mentor and coach other team members. Contribute toward departmental activities including training and providing guidance on key technical/architecture issues/challenges in the department. Position Requirements: Bachelor?s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Math or a related field. Four (4) years of experience in the job offered or a related software development position in Investment Management. Must have four years of: development experience with C, C++, Perl, Sybase, and Unix; work experience in a Gloss-based OLTP system and a demonstrated knowledge of Gloss-based transaction processing systems; experience in the analysis, design and development of systems utilizing business knowledge of a wealth management business- including subledger processing, bookkeeping, banking, margin and reporting functionalities; and experience implementing complex system flows for processing transactions related to a variety of financial products.
