JOB SUMMARY:
GENERAL SUMMARY Responsible for performing complex research and analysis to support business operations requirements. Develops business critical recommendations to solve problems and issues related to business operations. Communicates with other departments as appropriate. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES amp;amp;Oslash; Conducts analysis of complex business operations, processes and functional requirements. Prepares appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information using Visio workflows, business requirement documents, step action processes and Powerpoint presentations. amp;amp;Oslash; Evaluates existing business processes and recommends efficient, cost-effective solutions which support the business operations and functional requirements. amp;amp;Oslash; Participates in cross-functional project teams and workgroups to identify and document amp;apos;go toamp;apos; functional requirements, workflow, information sources and distribution paths, and system specifications. amp;amp;Oslash; Develops complex business user acceptance test case scenarios to advocate business needs driven from IT projects amp;amp;Oslash; Applies business and technical knowledge to analyze business operational software application requirements to ensure requirements are incorporated into system design amp;amp;Oslash; May support system enhancements, business user testing coordination, system conversions, and/or new business acquisitions/implementations. amp;amp;Oslash; May provide guidance to other analysts on complex assignments. amp;amp;Oslash; Capable of facilitating meetings with multiple stakeholders, business and IT representatives and document minutes, takeaways and decision points of meeting amp;amp;Oslash; Ability to create, maintain and update a large scale project plan amp;amp;Oslash; Performs other duties as required. JOB SPECIFICATIONS amp;amp;Oslash; Bacheloramp;apos;s degree or equivalent experience. amp;amp;Oslash; Previous (5-7 years) experience in data analysis in a customer service/operational environment within the health care insurance industry. amp;amp;Oslash; Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills. amp;amp;Oslash; Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. amp;amp;Oslash; Proficent knowledge of MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Visio and MS Project Pro amp;amp;Oslash; Understanding of health care business and care delivery processes. amp;amp;Oslash; Working knowledge of Health Care Reform legislation is preferred DISCLAIMER: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
