JOB SUMMARY:
Sr. Program Financial Analyst is needed for a Salt Lake employer. Req ID #5826BR. Assignment responsibilities include: planing and integrating company resources to successfully manage programs/projects and meet contractual commitments; managing correspondence and information requests from the Program office; leading Efficiency Initiatives to more effectively utilize current tools (Cost Point, Pro-Pricer , DOMs, IMPROMTU, EVMS-COBRA, Scheduling-MS Project; coordinating with department functions (Engineering, Production and Procurement) to track programs by cost and schedule against budgets; compiling, reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of financial data and prepare financial reports for management review. You will also support internal, external customers and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, CAS and FAR regulations; prepare various monthly financial and spending reports for management; complete yearly Operating and Strategic planning schedules as required by Finance Management; support all users in operation of Earned Value Management system (EVMS) Software and maintain the EVMS system and develop, prepare, analyze, and distribute daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual program finance management reports. You will have the opportunity to interface with management to develop recommendations regarding business planning, operating forecasts, and financial plans; assist in preparation of annual operating budgets and monthly forecasts; provide analysis of actual versus budgets, EAC's and implement action plans, and perform other duties as required and requested by management. Required Experience: * Minimum 5 - 7 years of progressive experience in a government program finance role. * Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or Finance. * Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, company and federal regulations, policies and procedures as they relate to program finance and government contracting. * Knowledge of CAS and FAR government accounting, 605 Revenue Recognition (SOP 81-1).
