JOB SUMMARY:
POSITION PURPOSE: Responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and hiring applicants for team member and management positions for 22 Utah Taco Bell Restaurants. Must have excellent interviewing techniques, gain a good knowledge of all positions in the Company, a basic understanding of the Company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices. Because of the industry?s high turnover for hourly employees and hourly managers the objective is to replace and or upgrade these lost employees as quickly and economically as possible. It is also imperative that all stores operate at minimum staffing levels. Track stores staffing levels daily and report these to senior management weekly with an action plan including weekly activities. Considerable skill in sourcing applicants using social media networks, job postings, recruiting, etc. Conduct wage surveys as needed. Analyze the information provided on a prospective employee's application form, conduct a personal interview. Determine the suitability of the applicant for employment. In cases where an applicant is judged unqualified, tactfully turn the applicant away. When the information provided indicates a good potential employee, perform further background reference investigation, i.e., prior employment references to gain adequate information on which to base a selection decision. Take into consideration previous experience, etc. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Continually source and hire applicants. Create and execute new ways to increase application flow. Act as liaison with restaurant managers, area coaches, and senior management on all staffing needs including compiling a weekly report to communicate by store staffing need and activities. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: This position requires an extremely creative and perceptive person, who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels. As unique situations present themselves, the incumbent must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill, and the public image. Considerable skill in sourcing applicants using social media networks, job postings, recruiting, etc. High competency level in organization and time management. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: 1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 2. At least (2) years related experience with a proven track record.
