JOB SUMMARY:
We have an immediate full time opening for a Systems Security Administrator. The position of Systems Security Administrator is established to implement and maintain security policies and procedures within all companies managed by the Larry H. Miller Sports and Entertainment group. Essential duties and responsibilities will include: Maintain and implement security policies across PCI compliant network and servers. Coordinate with other IT staff to implement new security related technologies and initiatives across the enterprise Communicate effectively, both orally and in written form, technical information with a wide variety of individuals and groups Maintain security based on industry standards with a focus on PCI compliance on systems in a fast changing environment supporting various Point of Sale, Ecommerce sites and other public facing systems Maintain all security patches on network and servers Monitoring and responding to security incidents Ensuring integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data Preventing and detecting intrusion Testing Security mechanisms to verify effectiveness. Perform other duties as assigned Physical Demands and Work environment: The employee must regularly lift andor move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift andor move up to 100 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate Must be able to work well in a team environment Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills) Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Information Systems or related field 3 years of experience in a large data center environment supporting server systems CISSP, CCNA Knowledge of the principles of data communications and telecommunications Experience with Cisco CLI and hardware Strong familiarity with Cisco IOS and Windows Server platforms Must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug screening
