JOB SUMMARY:
Seeking a full-time therapist to work with women in non-profit residential and outpatient substance abuse program, which has served Utah families since 1953. This clinician will work five days a week and one evening providing individual and group therapy in compliance with best practices of addiction treatment, utilizing the ASAM model of placement, Medicaid requirements and therapeutic processes approved by state and federal guidelines including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and other strengths-based approaches. This position requires managing a caseload of women in treatment at every level including assessment, treatment planning, treatment review, crisis management, discharge planning and closure. Current trends in funding require therapist to excel in writing and communication skills, be good time managers and the ability to manage multiple complex issues in a professional and efficient manner. Seeking self-motivated individual at problem solving, conflict resolution and engaging resistant clients as well as a thorough working knowledge of substance abuse clinical practice and mental health treatment. Requires proficiency in record keeping and documentation, collaborative style of outreach to clients, families and allied agencies. Clinical supervision for full licensure provided, if needed, and will prioritize experienced clinicians who have worked directly with women's issues and recovery. Must have a Master's Degree and current Utah license in good standing as LCSW, CSW, MFT, CMHC, ACMHC. Must have own reliable transportation and good driving record.
