JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for all functions in the title vault, as well as maintaining good working relationships with the Department of Motor Vehicles, car dealerships, insurance companies, and branch personnel. ?Works with loan officers in perfecting titles on all auto, boat, and RV loans. ?Acts as liaison with the Department of Motor Vehicles to obtain titles, solve problems and maintain a list of employees authorized to work with the DMV. ?Monitors TRF. ?Accurately records title notes on member accounts. ?Files and maintains titles including research when needed. ?Sends out titles when loans are paid off. ?Assists collectors to obtain titles for repossession. ?Promotes and maintains effective partnerships with team and Credit Union members. ?Incorporates MACU values and philosophies while fulfilling your responsibilities as a representative of the Collections Department and the Credit Union. ?Negotiates and accepts offers from insurance companies to pay off totaled vehicles. ?Prepares Title Exception Report and send to branches monthly. ?Performs other duties as assigned.
