JOB SUMMARY:
We are busy and we need you! A growth oriented employer in West Valley City is seeking skilled and energetic Assembly/Industrial Mechanics (think Millwright) for immediate openings. The right candidates will have 5 years of experience with assembly of medium to large gearboxes, conveyors, and mechanical industrial equipment. Using a parts list, you must be able to read and understand blueprints as you assemble to close fit/function tolerances; an attention to detail is a must. You will operate forklifts, overhead shop cranes, drill presses, grinders, paint guns, table saws, numerous hand tools, etc. Follow assembly guidelines, while meeting deadlines and resource objectives. Do not call us if you like to do the same thing day in and day out. This is a fast paced workplace where you will work inside and outside of the shop. There may be times when you are required to work on different types of equipment in the same day. You must be a "hands on team player". Also, you will need your own mechanic tools; hand and light power tools, be able to work safely, and have good housekeeping habits. For a small company, we offer a generous benefits package which includes: Employer pays 50% of Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Life Insurance, 401(k) that starts the matching at 4%, and more.
