JOB SUMMARY:
Modyne Machining Mfg. is a Manual Machine Job Shop who prides itself on fair prices, with good quality products. Are you up for a challenge? We are a Manual Machine Shop and we are looking for hard working dedicated and creative craftsmen that want to join our team. We offer steady year round work, flexible shifts, good pay, and benefits. Immediate openings are available for day and swing shifts for Journeyman Machinists with five to seven years of experience. Our machines are mostly manual with one CNC mill. If you have a combination of manual and CNC then do apply. You will have five (5) to seven (7) years experience and be a Journeyman Machinist. You should also be able to read blue prints and plan your work. Set up, dial in, and machine safely and within tolerance work pieces that are mild steel, stainless, 4140, 1045, etc. Also it is expected that you are able to operate manual mills, manual lathes, manual drill presses, manual broaching press, etc. Additional duties include: cleaning up work area, oil machines, have proficient threading skills, and be able to operate forklifts and overhead cranes. Single point threading experience is a plus. You also must have your own machining tools.
