Manual Machine Job Shop Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY:
Modyne Machining Mfg. is a Manual Machine Job Shop who prides itself on fair prices, with good quality and on-time deliveries. We are looking for a hard working, dedicated person with strong leadership and creative problem solving skills that wants to join our team as a Day Shift Manual Machine Shop Supervisor. We offer steady year round work, good pay, and benefits. Our machines are all manual and if you only have "production type" experience there is no need to apply. You will have five (5) years of Supervisory experience. Experience as a manual machinist is preferable, but some of type of job shop manufacturing is a must. You must be able to read blue prints and plan work for your direct reports. It would be a big plus if you are able to operate Manual Mills, Manual Lathes, Manual Drill Presses, Manual Broaching Press, etc. Additional duties include: the coordination of work with the Fabrication and Assembly shops, inspection, implmentation of the Safety program in your area, ensure equipment and tooling are kept and operated in a safe and functional manner. Forklift certified. Your own machining tools are necessary.
