JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for extracting and analyzing data using a variety of tools and methods. From design and development through deployment and support, this position will standardize and draw upon information from multiple data systems to deliver business intelligence to the organization. The position will be called upon to generate ad hoc reports based on user-defined requirements or modify existing predetermined reports as required. All candidates must be comfortable working with large data pools and must have direct experience in effectively manipulating and presenting data. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the creation and delivery of sales, pipeline, forecasting, customer utilization, and reports with information derived from multiple data repositories. Works closely with multiple internal departments and customers to ensure all reporting requirements are gathered and agreed upon. Assists in increasing effectiveness of the organization through metrical reporting and analysis. Creates and maintains documented data quality standards and procedures to assure delivery of accurate information to business groups. Creation of ad-hoc reporting as needed. Also for generating predefined reports for various user groups on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Manages multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and ensures all requirements and deliverables are on track to meet planned deliverables and required timeframes. Participates in discussions regarding requirements and deriving solutions to implement best practices to serve the organization based on our policies, procedures and requirements. Performs complex data analysis in support of ad-hoc and standing customer requests. Participates in ongoing decisions regarding study design, data collection, data analysis, and methodology. Helps prepare sales presentations to present to major retailer?s buying groups. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing or equivalent work experience. Experience in data analysis, decision support, including demonstrated proficiency with analytical software. Preferred candidates will have experience using POS data, Edifice, and retail analysis skills. Strong analytical skills and detail oriented. Expert Microsoft Excel user with experience using an ERP system. Ability to manage multiple priorities and multitask. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to think strategically. Salary DOE, full time with benefits after 90 days.
